GTCR-backed Callcredit acquires Confirma
US-based private equity firm GTCR's database and software analytics portfolio company Callcredit Information Group has acquired Spanish anti-money-laundering software developer Confirma Sistemas de Informacion.
This is the third acquisition for Callcredit, which previously acquired customer experience specialist Numero in March 2016 and device fraud protection firm Recipero in September 2016.
The acquisition is expected to speed up the international expansion of Callcredit's fraud prevention and risk management business and will enable it to offer its fraud detection service to a wider client base.

GTCR acquired Callcredit in February 2014 from Vitruvian Partners for £480m.
