BGF provides £6.45m for Entier expansion
Business Growth Fund (BGF) has invested ТЃ6.45m in Scotland-based catering company Entier.
The business will build on its existing network of 38 remote locations in 23 countries, including Australia, Canada and Singapore.
The company's revenues grew by 13% to £44.9m as of the end of September 2016, with pre-tax profits increasing by 72% to £1.5m in the same period.
BGF makes initial investments of between £2-10m and can provide additional funding to support further growth. The investment provided is typically in the form of equity in return for a minority equity stake.
Company
Entier serves meals on oil and gas rigs and other remote installations, with 760 staff. The company also provides hotel services such as cleaning, laundry and welfare services.
Its clients in the offshore sector include Apache, Awilco Drilling, EnQuest, Rowan Drilling and Technip. Entier has also developed a Fresh chain of cafes across Aberdeen, as well as providing catering and hospitality services in 20 client offices, including for Stork, Helix and Archer.
