The Riverside Company has hired Allison Cole as managing director and global head of fundraising and investor relations.
Prior to joining Riverside, Cole was a managing director and head of fundraising and investor relations at New York-headquartered Lightyear Capital. Before this, she was a managing director of fundraising and investor relations at CCMP Capital Advisors.
In her new role, Cole will develop Riverside's relationships with LPs and oversee the firm's fundraising activities in its private equity, structured capital and private credit strategies.
The GP said in a statement that it has hired more than 50 employees in the past 12 months, bringing its team to almost 350 staff.
Riverside focuses on lower-mid-market private equity deals, targeting companies with enterprise values of EUR 50m-300m and EBITDA of EUR 5m-30m. The GP held a final close for Riverside Europe Fund VI in March 2021 on EUR 465m.
