
Chequers’ Idverde acquires Quadron
Landscape services company Idverde, backed by Chequers Capital, has acquired grounds maintenance business Quadron.
Idverde acquired Quadron from its private shareholders. As part of the deal, all of Quadron's senior management team will remain in their positions.
Previous funding
Idverde was set up with backing from Chequers in February 2014, following the buyout of the French landscape construction and grounds maintenance activities of ISS – known at the time as ISS Espaces Verts. According to unquote" data, the deal was understood to be worth €130m.
In April 2015, Chequers supported Idverde's acquisition of The Landscape Group from Elysian Capital.
Company
Established in 1993, Quadron focuses on long-term grounds maintenance to local authorities, housing associations and other public sector clients.
Idverde trades in the UK as The Landscape Group and delivers park management, grounds maintenance, tree surgery, street cleaning and landscape construction services to local authorities, housing associations, private businesses, schools, hospitals and the construction industry.
Following the deal, Idverde's UK turnover stands at £90m and the company employs 1,600 people.
