Troika launches technology venture fund
Troika Ventures, backed by parent company Sberbank of Russia, has launched a $100m technology venture fund.
Investors
Sberbank has committed $100m to the fund. It is looking to increase the fund size to $500m alongside international LPs.
Investments
Troika Ventures will invest in high-tech companies and projects within and outside of Russia. Investments will be applied to Sberbank Group's operations, thereby making it a consumer of, as well investor in, the technologies. It has also offered support to future portfolio companies from its Technology Research Centre.
