Gimv appoints new board director
Gimv’s board of directors has elected Marc De Scheemaecker to the board as a director.
De Scheemaecker is currently chairman of Brussels Airport's board of directors, and is also the former CEO of NMBS, the National Railway Company of Belgium.
He is also a director for HRD Antwerp, a Belgian service provider for the diamond and jewellery industries; and Vitrufin, the holding company of Belgian insurer Ethias.
De Scheemaecker succeeds Johan Van den Driessche, who resigned earlier this year due to his election to the Brussels parliament.
