Advent-backed Oxea acquires ester plant from ExxonMobil
Advent International German portfolio company Oxea has agreed to acquire an Amsterdam-based ester production plant from ExxonMobil.
The transaction is expected to be closed in July this year.
Oxea is a chemicals company based in Oberhausen. It employs around 1,300 staff in Germany and the US and reported a turnover of EUR1.2bn in 2008.
