CDC commits EUR7m to Advans
CDC Group has committed EUR7m to Advans SA SICAR, a venture capital company investing in greenfield microfinance institutions in Africa and Asia. CDC has already committed EUR3m and will commit an additional EUR4m in anticipation of the second round of fundraising to be organised by Advans at the beginning of 2009. Advans was established in 2005 in Luxembourg with capital of EUR14.1m.
