Interxion considers £200m London flotation
Netherlands-based Internet data centres owner Interxion, a portfolio company of US private equity firm Baker Capital, is considering a £200m flotation in London. The company has asked Bear Stearns to consider its options, which include a trade sale, but flotation seems more likely. Founded in 1998, Interxion has 22 data centres in 11 countries across Europe. It hosts websites and stores information for customers including Coca-Cola, IBM and Tiscali. Baker has invested £50m in the company.
