
Doughty Hanson wins EUR750m TMF deal
Doughty Hanson & Co has acquired a majority stake in TMF for a total of EUR750m. The deal originated through an auction led by UBS. A number of European and US private equity houses were involved, including Hellman & Friedman and General Atlantic, as well as 3i in the latter stages of the process. ING and UBS provided the debt for the transaction.
Established in 1988 in the Netherlands, TMF provides specialised administrative services such as bookkeeping, domiciliary, structured finance, human resources, international VAT, international licensing, fund administration and shareholder services. (Page 24).
