Egeria hits its hardcap of EUR500m
Egeria has reached its EUR500m hardcap for its third fund in a single close. The fund was launched in April with a target of EUR400m. Four years ago, Egeria II closed on EUR360m.
The fund will continue the investment strategy of its predecessor, targeting Dutch mid-market companies, or businesses with a Dutch connection, with an enterprise value between EUR50-200m. The new vehicle will seek to acquire controlling stakes for between EUR15-50m, and will avoid co-investing. The fund's exit strategy will be focused primarily on trade sales, but sales to other financial investors will also be considered.
