Refresco attracts interest

According to reports, Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander-backed Dutch fruit juice producer Refresco Holding BV is being circled by private equity firms.

Reportedly, both Blackstone Group and Lion Capital have looked at the company. Refresco's current owners acquired the business in 2006 from 3i Group for EUR463m. 3i had in turn acquired the company from HayHill Capital, NeSBIC, ISIS and CBG Commerzbank in 2003 for approximately EUR310m.
