Torqx buys party products retailer Folat
Dutch GP Torqx Capital Partners has acquired Haarlem-based party products manufacturer and distributor Folat Group.
Folat is the fourth investment from the GP's debut fund, a €150m vehicle that aims to make 10-12 investments in total. Debt for the transaction was arranged by Rabobank.
The new partnership will enable Folat to develop in new markets, such as a B2C e-commerce platform, according to a company statement.
Torqx span out from H2 Equity Partners in 2015, where the team was responsible for H2's Benelux investments.
