NETHERLANDS – NIBC acquires Busker Hei
NIBC Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in sheet pile manufacturer Busker Hei. The founders hold the balance of the shares and Rabobank provided the debt for the transaction.
Netherlands – CVC acquires 73% of Schuitema
CVC Capital Partners is made an offer to acquire 73% of supermarket chain Schuitema from Ahold. As a result of the transaction, Ahold will obtain a 20% indirect interest in Schuitema without supervisory board representation.
NETHERLANDS – Aquiline acquires 5.1% of BinckBank
New York-based Aquiline Capital Partners has acquired a 5.1% in Euronext-listed Dutch online bank BinckBank.
NETHERLANDS – Van den Ende & Deitmers takes 30% of Central Point
Van den Ende & Deitmers has acquired a 30% stake in Central Point, an online provider of computer products. Earlier this month the private equity house invested in social networking site Hyves, described as the Dutch “facebook."
