Baring Vostok buys minority stake in Synergetic
Baring Vostok has acquired a minority stake in Synergetic, a Russian manufacturer of ecological detergents and cosmetics.
The transaction involved the issuance of new shares by Synergetic; none of the existing shareholders left the company's capital structure, Russian business daily Vedomosti reported.
Synergetic is controlled by its founders and managers: Petr Manevich (45%), Alexey Zyuzin (40%), Alexey Shatov (10%) and Alexey Konovalov (5%), according to Vedomosti.
Synergetic plans to increase production and launch eco-products in related categories, such as toothpastes and cosmetics.
Company
Based in Nizhny Novgorod and founded in 2012, Synergetic manufactures environmentally friendly detergents for washing, cleaning and dishwashing. In 2019, Synergetic posted RUB 2.2bn ($29.6m) in revenues, an increase from RUB 1.1bn in the previous year, according to Vedomosti.
