EI-backed Anwim acquires EMila
Enterprise Investors (EI) portfolio company Anwim is in the process of acquiring EMila, a Polish network of self-service petrol stations.
As part of the deal, Anwim will take over 26 petrol stations belonging to BM Reflex, with an option to acquire a further four in 2021.
EI acquired a significant minority stake in the company for €23.3m in November 2018 via its Polish Enterprise Fund VIII. In September 2017, the GP held a €498m first and final close for its consumer-product-focused vehicle, surpassing an original target of €450m.
The transaction remains subject to approval from the competition authorities.
