Jet Investments fully acquires Tedom
Jet Investment has acquired remaining 45% stake in Czech electricity co-generation manufacturer Tedom from Cypriot company Moufleco Holding, becoming the sole owner of the company.
The GP deployed capital from Jet II Fund, a 2017-vintage vehicle that held a final close on CZK 4bn (€153m) in November 2018. The fund has a life of 8-10 years and targets an IRR of 15%.
The acquisition put to an end a dispute among shareholders, E15 reported. Martin Rosenbaum, a representative of Moufleco, the owner of 45% stake in Tedom, had been legally challenging the earlier sale of 55% stake in Tedom to Jet Investment, claiming that Moufleco had the first right to buy.
Company
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Výčapy, Tedom is an electricity manufacturer that is focused on development and production of co-generation units. Last year, Tedom posted sales of CZK 4bn (€147.8m). The Tedom group has 900 employees, and its EBITDA last year reached CZK 450m, according to E15.
