
Taxim acquires Doganay Gida
Taxim Capital has acquired Doganay Gida, a Turkey-based manufacturer of non-carbonated beverages, sauces and vinegars.
Under Taxim's ownership, Doganay plans to accelerate its growth.
The investment remains subject to approval from local competition authorities.
The deal constitutes Taxim's sixth investment. The GP's other investments include BigChefs Cafe Brasserie, Netcad Software, Suwen Lingerie, Alke Veterinary Pharma, and Cyberwis.
Company
Established by Remzi and Rafet Doganay in 1997, Doganay Gida is based in Adana. The company produces beverages, sauces and vinegars under four sub brands: Doganay for salgam, Lita for lemonade, and Nare and Butun for sauces and vinegars. It has a 80,000 square metre closed production facility with a 550 million litre annual production capacity. The company posted around TRY 250m ($31m) turnover in 2019.
