Genesis acquires Home Care Promedica
Genesis Capital has acquired a majority stake in Home Care Promedica, a Czech provider of home care services.
The GP is currently investing from Genesis Growth Equity Fund I, a 2018-vintage vehicle that held a first close on €31m in October 2019. The fund is targeting €40m for its final close. It deploys equity tickets of €1-4m, investing in small and medium-sized companies present in the Czech and Slovak markets.
The company plans to expand its regional presence and portfolio of offered services.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Prague, Home Care Promedica provides professional home healthcare services and medical equipment. The company claims it has always been funded entirely with Czech capital.
