Latvia’s Skillion Ventures has led a €2m funding round for Riga-based peer-to-peer lending platform Mintos.
The Latvian company will use Skillion's seed capital for product development, expanding the team and accelerating the growth of its platform.
Mintos expects to attract additional non-bank lenders to its platform, which currently features seven. The non-bank lenders use the platform to provide loans in Georgia and the Baltic countries, though the company's management hopes to expand geographically with the addition of Polish and Czech non-bank lenders.
