
Enterprise Investors injects €2.2m into EP Serwis
Enterprise Investors has completed a €2.2m financing round for Polish pallet services company EP Serwis.
Enterprise Investors drew the equity from Enterprise Venture Fund I (EVF I). Following completion of the deal, the fund will hold a 49% stake in the company. EVF I closed on €100m in 2008.
The new capital will help EP Serwis develop its pooling services.
The deal was initated by PKF Consult, which introduced the deal to Enterprise Investors.
Company
EP Serwis is a Kozienice-based company that provides a range of services in the wooden pallets market. These include the pooling, trading, recycling and distribution of wooden pallets.
The company employs 140 people and operates 1,500 distribution points across Poland. Its annual turnover is approximately €10m.
