
Earlybird backs Peak Games
Earlybird has invested $11.5m in Peak Games together with Hummingbird Ventures and a strategic investor bringing the round to a total of $19m.
The capital will be used to fund market expansion, the acquisition of additional game studios, hiring staff and increasing user numbers.
Recently, Peak Games has expanded by adding strategy games studios Umaykut and Happy Farm which provide games such as TrendKiz and Okey.

Istanbul-based Peak Games was founded in October 2010 by Turkish entrepreneur Sidar Sahin.
The company develops social games targeting users in emerging markets such as Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa. It has more than 16 million active users. Its portfolio of games includes Okey and Ikon Kiz as well as licensed games such as Komsu Ciftlik.
Currently, Peak Games employs over 50 people worldwide and operates offices and game studios in Istanbul, Ankara, Amman, Barcelona and Berlin.
