
Earlybird invests in Socialbakers
Earlybird has led a $2m financing round for social media analytics company Socialbakers.
Earlybird says the funding is intended to support the company's growth and extend its platform.

Socialbakers is a social media statistics company, which provides brands with software-as-a-service solutions to monitor and manage their own and competitors' presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+. Launched in 2009, the company employs 55 staff and has around 250,000 active users per month.

Jason Whitmire, general partner at Earlybird, and Martin Huml, managing director at Runway Capital, will join the company's board of directors.
