Catalyst invests €1m in Romania's Marketizator
3TS Capital Partners-managed fund Catalyst Romania has invested €1m in Romanian sales software platform Marketizator.
With the fresh capital in hand, the Bucharest-headquartered company plans to expand globally, with particular focus on the Brazilian, Japanese, Russian and US markets.
The investment is the first round of institutional capital raised by Marketizator and the ninth investment made by Catalyst Romania in a Romanian company. Most recently, the fund backed Romanian cloud invoicing business Smart Bill alongside the Gecad Group.
Company
Founded in 2013, Marketizator is a technology company focusing on conversion rate optimisation. Its product allows marketers to adjust optimisation options for their products to maximise conversion rates from visitors into paying customers.
The company is headquartered in Bucharest and employs a staff of 25.
