Ebersberger leaves Linklaters for Ashurst

Holger Ebersberger has left Linklaters and joined Ashurst as partner in the private equity team.
The move is a return to Ashurst for Ebersberger, who will take up his new role on 1 July. He previously held the role of research associate at the firm, a position he also held at CMS and Gleiss Lutz. In 2007, he joined Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom as foreign associate, for one year, before moving to Gleiss Lutz, where he spent three years. Ebersberger joined Linklaters in 2011.
The move follows the appointment of private equity and M&A-specialised partner Thomas Sacher last year. He joined from Beiten Burkhardt in Nürnberg.
This week, unquote" also reported the departure of David Holdsworth and Tim Lowe from Linklaters.
