
Stirling Square appoints Hauptmeier to DACH team
Stirling Square Capital Partners has appointed former TA Associates principal Dietrich Hauptmeier to its investment team.
In his new London-based role, Hauptmeier will be "contributing to the firm's investment activities" in the DACH region, according to a statement issued by the GP.
According to unquote" data, Stirling Square has conducted 14.28% of its investment activity in the DACH region since its inception in 2002. The firm currently manages three pan-European private equity funds totalling more than €1bn in assets under management.
Hauptmeier left TA Associates after five years with the company, during which he focused on investments in northern Europe. Prior to joining TA Associates he worked on the investment teams at Palamon Capital Partners and KKR, both in London.
