Ardian hires Friedrich to join buyout team
Ardian has hired Alexander Friedrich to the position of managing director in its Frankfurt office.
The appointment was effective as of 1 February 2019. Friedrich will work in the buyout team in Frankfurt. The team is currently deploying capital from Ardian LBO Fund VI, which held a final close on €4bn in 2016.
Friedrich joins Ardian from Quadriga Capital, where he was responsible for the services and software sector and was co-head of the healthcare sector.
Friedrich started his career at RBS in the leveraged finance team. He then moved on to be a partner at Gilde Buy Out Partners in Zurich, responsible for transformational LBO and growth deals in the DACH region.
