Riverside hires three for German office
The Riverside Company has appointed Siemen's Kai Lucks and Michael Sarp as senior advisers as well as Patrick Schaich (pictured) as new DACH vice president to its Munich office.
Schaich replaces Ivica Turza, who now heads Riverside's Asian office in Singapore. Schaich will work on identifying and developing investment opportunities of up to €200m in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Schaich previously worked for the M&A advisory team at Berenberg Bank as vice president. Prior to this, he worked in the M&A advisory sector at Kepler Capital Markets and in transaction advisory services at Ernst & Young.
Lucks joins Riverside from Siemens, where he worked for the past 35 years. He was global head of M&A integration for the past decade. At Siemens, Lucks managed businesses in the engineering, nuclear power and medical equipment sectors. He will advise Riverside on Europe-wide transactions in the industrial and technology fields.
Sarp was CEO of Nordeck International Holding prior to joining the GP. He advises Riverside on investments in the consumer goods industry.
