
Consortium exits PregLem in trade sale
A consortium consisting of Sofinnova Partners, MVM International Life Sciences Partners, NeoMed Innovation, Sofinnova Ventures and Sutrepa have sold their stakes in PregLem to Gedeon Richter Plc.
The trade sale gives exiting investors an initial cash consideration of CHF 150m and further milestone payments of up to CHF 295m. Richter wholly owns the company following the transaction, which valued PregLem at up to CHF 445m.
The company first received funding in June 2007 and a CHF 36m series-B funding round was completed in December 2007.
