Alexandra Hagelüken joins Latham & Watkins

Hagelüken has left Clifford Chance to join Latham & Watkins' Frankfurt office as leverage finance partner.
The departure of Hagelüken from Clifford Chance to Latham & Watkins is not the first one this year. In February, Oliver Felsenstein and former Clifford Chance partner Burc Hesse made the same move.
Hagelüken and Felsenstein worked together at Clifford Chance on several occasions, notably on advising 3i.
Hagelüken has experience advising on national and European financings with a focus on acquisition financing transactions, infrastructure financings, financial restructurings and general corporate lending. Besides private equity firms, she has worked with banks, debt funds and asset managers.
Clifford Chance advised Deutsche Wohnen on the acquisition of competitor Convert for €1.2bn earlier this year. Hagelüken led Clifford Chance's adviser team on this deal.
