Augur Capital holds €70m first closing on latest fund
Augur Capital has held a first closing at €70m for its Augur FIS Financial Opportunities II fund.
The private equity house, which specialises in financial services investments in the German speaking region, expects to reach the fund's €250m target by end of first quarter 2011. The hard cap is set at €300m.
Paris-based placement agent Global Private Equity is assisting Augur with the fundraising.
