EPS Value Plus backs CHF 10m round in Sensimed
EPS Value Plus AG has invested CHF 3.5m as part of a CHF 10m series-B financing round in micro-systems developer Sensimed.
Existing investors Wellington Partners, Vinci Capital and BlueOcean Ventures also participated in the funding round. EPS Value Plus provided the funding from its listed investment fund New Value AG.
The new capital will be used to achieve approval in the US and in Asian countries, to commercialise the device in selected geographies, to run post-marketing application trials and to fund ongoing operations.
Lausanne-based Sensimed was founded in 2003 as a spin-off of Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne and is focussing on designing, developing and commercialising integrated micro-systems for medical devices.
