Apax Partners et al. express interest in Jack Wolfskin
Apax Partners, Advent International and CVC Capital Partners have shown interest in the sale of German outdoor clothing and equipment manufacturer Jack Wolfskin.
Current Wolfskin owners Barclays Private Equity and Quadriga Capital Management are also considering an IPO.
The Idstein-based company has a forecast turnover of over €250m for 2010. Wolfskin has recently expanded to Asia and opened about 70 shops in China in recent years. Barclays PE and Quadriga bought the company in 2005 for €105m from Bain Capital.
