Watson Farley to merge with Oldenbourg Plus
Watson Farley & Williams is to merge with German private equity boutique Oldenbourg Plus, which will give the firm its first office in Munich.
The UK firm is set to merge with five-lawyer Munich's Oldenbourg Plus on 1 July. This takes the number of lawyers in Watson Farley's German practice, which focuses on private equity and renewable energy, to around 30.
Andreas Oldenbourg and Simon Preisenberger founded Oldenbourg Plus in 2005. Advising on mid-market private equity transactions as well as mainstream M&A, clients include German and international private equity funds.
