Goldman Sachs Asset Management has closed its fifth private equity secondaries fund, GS Vintage Fund V, with approximately $5.5bn in capital commitments. The global fund is headquartered in New York.

LPs include existing and new institutional and private investors throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Investments
GS Vintage Fund V will focus on acquiring portfolios of private equity assets, including limited partnership interests in private equity funds, as well as providing liquidity to both LPs and GPs around the world. The fund will invest in opportunities ranging from $1m-1bn in size, across all developed markets and areas of private equity.
