
Taylor Wessing hires new German PE head
Walter Henle, previously a partner at law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, will head Taylor Wessing’s German private equity practice.
Henle will continue to be based in Munich, but will also closely collaborate with partners Michael Stein and Christian Kleeberg in the Frankfurt office.
Henle has more than 25 years' experience in the industry, particularly in M&A markets and private equity transactions. He has advised financial investors in more than 30 buyouts and also advises German and international enterprises on corporate law.
Prior to joining Skadden, Henle worked at law firm Baker & McKenzie, including in roles such as head of the firm's private equity group and as a corporate partner.
