Up to Eleven backs Nuki's €2m seed round
Austrian smart lock developer Nuki has raised €2m from Up to Eleven, Venta Beteiligungs, Aquis Sanitär and Aws Wirtschaftsservice.
All backers except company builder Up to Eleven are new to the investor group. Venta Beteiligungs is the investment arm of the eponymous real estate group. Aquis Sanitär sells sanitary equipment, while Aws Wirtschaftsservice is an Austrian government bank.
Nuki's door lock system was supposed to be ready for delivery in Q4 2015. However, after a number of delays, the startup hopes to ship its product in May 2016. The company claims it has accrued 4,000 orders to date.
Previous funding
In 2015, Nuki raised €385,000 via crowd funding platform Kickstarter.
