Delos leads Allecra Therapeutics' €22m round
Hong Kong-based investor Delos Capital has led a €22m series-B round for German drug developer Allecra Therapeutics.
Existing investors Forbion Capital Partners, Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, EMBL Ventures and Allecra's co-founder Nicholas Benedict also participated.
The proceeds will fund phase-2 development of its antibiotic combination designed to treat drug-resistant bacterial infections.
Delos is a healthcare-focused fund that invests in therapeutics and medical technology companies, mostly in China and the US.
Forbion deployed capital from both its main fund and its latest co-investment fund. The main fund closed in April this year on €183m, below its €200m target, while Forbion's co-investment vehicle FCF II Co-invest Fund I held its final close on €75m in September 2015.

Founded in 2013 and based in Weil am Rhein and Saint Louis, Allecra is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of treatments to combat multi drug-resistant Gram-negative bacterial infections.
Allecra's wholly owned French subsidiary is a beneficiary of financial support from the French public bank BPI France and from the Région Alsace.
