IBB backs Meetrics' third funding round
IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft and Yabeo Capital have backed German marketing analytics software Meetrics.
The VCs were joined by two business angels. The seven-digit investment will be used to finance expansion and the opening of new offices in Italy, Poland and the Nordic countries. Meetrics stated it reached profitability halfway through 2016.
IBB invested via VC Fonds Technologie Berlin, a €52m vehicle that deploys initial financing of up to €1.5m, with a limit of €3m per company over several rounds.
Previous funding
Meetrics raised series-A funding from IBB in September 2012. NW Digital also committed to the round.
In February 2015, Yabeo invested in a series-B funding round for Meetrics, alongside the existing investors.
Company
Founded in 2008 and based in Berlin, Meetrics developed a software that aims to increase the quality of online marketing. It evaluates the visibility of online ads and allows users to control the ad environment and the target group. The software also protects against fraudulent placements.
The company has offices in Berlin, London, Paris and Vienna, and employs 65 staff.
