Project A backs Klara's $3m round
Project A Ventures has backed a $3m funding round for healthcare messaging platform Klara, alongside lead investor Lerer Hippeau Ventures.
The two VCs were joined by existing backers Atlantic Labs and Groupe Arnault. The funding will be used for further expansion in the US. Since the previous funding round in 2015, Klara moved its headquarters to New York in order to focus on the US market.
Lerer Hippeau is a seed-stage venture capital fund based in New York. The VC's portfolio includes BuzzFeed, Casper and Giphy.

In February 2015, Creathor Venture, Partech Ventures and Heilemann Ventures took part in a €2m funding round for Klara.
Company
Founded in 2013 and based in New York and Berlin, Klara is a medical messaging platform for medical communication. It allows doctors and their teams to communicate with their patients, adding external providers and other medical partners to the conversation to streamline patient care.
