
HTGF and Bayern Kapital in Mecuris seed round
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Bayern Kapital have provided seed financing for Munich-based medical technology startup Mecuris.
The funding will be used to further develop its product. Mecuris claims to operate in a €1.8bn market for prosthetics.
Company
Founded in 2016 as a spinout from the Ludwig-Maximilians University Hospital of Munich, Mecuris develops personalised and additively manufactured orthopaedic patient aids.
It produces prosthetics through a web-based platform and 3D printing. Mecuris's team currently consists of nine people.
