
Bayern Kapital leads first investment round for Cobrainer
Bayern Kapital has led a seven-figure first funding round for Munich-based human capital software startup Cobrainer.
Vogel Ventures and Linden Capital also provided funding alongside business angels Michael Brehm and Andy Goldstein. Bayern Kapital will use funds from its €250m Bavarian Growth Fund vehicle to finance the transaction.
Cobrainer will use the extra funding to optimise its technology and expand its marketing strategy.
Company
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Munich, Cobrainer has developed a human capital management software platform for use by companies with more than 500 employees.
The team has grown from six to 13 since it emerged from a research project at the Technical University of Munich. The company has already secured clients and became profitable at the end of last year.
