Digital+ Partners leads €13.5m series-B for Riskmethods
Digital+ Partners has led a series-B funding round for Munich-based insurance-related technology company Riskmethods.
Existing investors EQT Ventures, Senovo and Bayern Kapital also took part in the new round, which brings the total equity capital raised by Riskmethods to date to more than €20m.
The fresh funds will be used for further product development and international expansion. The company has already opened an office in Boston and plans to double its workforce by the end of the year.
Previous funding
In January 2014, Bayern Kapital and Point Nine Capital invested in a seed round for Riskmethods, acquiring a minority stake for €900,000. In November the same year, both VCs reinvested alongside Senovo to provide an extra €1.8m in a series-A round. An additional funding round of €4.6m was then held in February 2016.
