
Project A, Creandum lead €8.5m series-A for Comtravo
Berlin-based Project A Ventures and Swedish VC Creandum have co-led an €8.5m series-A funding round for travel software company Comtravo.
The new funding will be used to accelerate product development and facilitate future international expansion.
Both VCs emphasised the value of Comtravo's artificial intelligence team in a statement. According to the company, more than a third of its processed travel requests are fully automated.
Previous funding
In January 2016, Berlin-based seed investor Vito One provided Comtravo with a seed funding round of undisclosed value.
Company
Established in 2016 and headquartered in Berlin, Comtravo develops artificial-intelligence-based travel software. It aims to automate responses to business travel booking requests as well as centralising and rationalising the billing system.
