
Yabeo leads €3m seed round for Dentolo
Yabeo Capital has led a €3m seed funding round for German dentistry comparison application Dentolo.
IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, Atlantic Labs and Axel Springer also took part in the round along with business angels from the insurance industry.
The fresh capital will be used for building up the technology, expanding the team and developing the product portfolio.
Dentolo wants to use digitalisation to bring transparency to the
procedures and costs involved in dentistry. It projects that its technology could reduce insurance companies costs by 20% a year.
Company
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Berlin, Dentolo develops an application that allows users to find and compare dentists. The company has a network of more than 300 dentistry practices and has serviced 15,000 patient enquiries. It employs 25 people, half of which are focused on IT and development.
