
HTGF backs WhatsBroadcast in €5m series-A
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has backed the €5m series-A of WhatsBroadcast, a German marketing service for business chatbots.
Additional investors in the deal include publisher Müller Medien, Media + More Ventures, Wessel Management and other minority shareholders.
WhatsBroadcast provides the infrastructure and tools to facilitate communication between companies and customers via messaging services WhatsApp, WeChat and Facebook Messenger. Users of WhatsBroadcast are set up with the service in a software-as-a-service licence model and provided with a browser interface to control their messenger marketing, customer support and interactive chatbots.

Founded in 2015, WhatsBroadcast offers marketing services for messenger platforms and chatbots, including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram and Insta. It supports 800 companies primarily in the DACH region. The startup is headquartered in Munich and employs 30 staff.
