HTGF leads seed round for DeviceTrust
German venture capital house High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) has led a seed funding round for Berlin-based startup DeviceTrust.
According to a statement, the company will use HTGF's investment to undertake product development and marketing activity across the DACH region.
Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, though the GP invests €500,000-2m in Germany-based technology companies with revenues of up to €10m. The firm also considers co-investments and targets a holding period of around seven years.
The deal is the fifth German investment made by HTGF since the beginning of August. Other deals have included WhatsBroadcast, Flynex, Rodos Biotarget and Zimmer Biotech.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Berlin, DeviceTrust develops software that enables companies to implement flexible and mobile workplaces. It is designed to fulfill security, compliance and regulatory requirements. The company's customers primarily operate in the healthcare and automotive sectors.
