
Atlantic Labs backs Cara
Early-stage investor Atlantic Labs has invested $2m in Cara, a digestive health software application developed by Berlin-based HiDoc Technologies.
Anonymous business angels also participated in the round, which will be used to launch the platform.
The company aims to help the 20% of people who suffer from digestive diseases such as GERD, IBS or IBD by logging their diet and symptoms.

HiDoc was founded in 2015 by André Sommer and Jesaja Brinkmann. It launched in the US in January 2017 and employs 10 people.
