Kapa Ventures backs €2.1m seed round for Mything
Austrian VC firm Kapa Ventures has invested €2.1m in Graz-based 3D-printed goods marketplace Mything.
Kapa Ventures will hold a majority stake in the business after the investment, while CEO Florian Mott takes a minority position.
Mything plans to use the funds to launch its online service and begin processing orders by "late autumn".
Company
Mything was founded in 2017 and is based in Graz. It has designed an online marketplace for the buying and selling of 3D-printed jewellery and accessories, as well as designs for the 3D printing of these goods. The company employs 10 people in Graz and Vienna, using co-working space Sektor5. It also outsources some technical development to a Ukrainian company.
