Apex backs €1.8m seed round for Kivu
Apex Ventures has taken part in a €1.8m seed round for Austrian data management software company Kivu Technologies.
Austrian VC firm AWS Gründerfonds and Swiss investor BtoV Partners have also backed the round.
The company plans to use the fresh funds to launch its network analysis platform before the end of 2017.
Company
Kivu was founded in 2016 in Vienna by Robert Wesley, Jan van Oort and Christian Weichselbaum. It develops software for the management and presentation of data using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. The team comprises engineers, developers, data scientists, analysts and security experts.
